Cyber professional Syed Shuja who made freakish claims about EVMs hacking during 2014 elections a day ago has created ripples in the political circles. He made yet another sensational comment on Wednesday that he along with 13 other members went to BJP leader Kishan Reddy's relative Kakireddy's guest house in the early hours of 13 May 2014. He alleged that Kishan Reddy who was present there told his gunmen to open fire to kill them. Shuja recalled that in the firing 11 members were killed and one by name Kamal Rao was also died. He told that he fled to America as he faced threats.

On the first day revelations made by Syed Shuja, 22 non-BJP parties want to meet Election Commission and would like to discuss to withdraw EVMs in the coming polls. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Congress senior leader Kapil Sibal and various other leaders demanded conducting national debate on EVMs tampering. Mr. Naidu added that many international technical analysts proved that tampering of EVMs is possible and EVMs are being used only in 20 countries. EVMs should be stopped to keep a check to misuse of technology and it is the duty of EC to create awareness among the people, Mr. Naidu said.
