Record break: Harish Rao breaks record with over 1 lakh majority in Siddipet

Siddipet: Harish Rao who exuded the confidence of breaking his previous record by getting over one lakh votes retained his words. Rao won over TJS candidate Bhavani Reddy with 1,06,816 majority. It is learned that 80 per cent of the total votes were polled for Harish Rao. In 2014, Rao won from Siddipet with a record number of 1,08,699 votes. Harish Rao who contested from Siddipet during bi-elections in 2004 has never looked back in his political career. He emerged as five-time MLA from Siddipet assembly constituency.
