Hyderabad: Poilce rescued three kidnapped children

Within 24 hours of a four-year-old boy being kidnapped from the Secunderabad Railway Station, the Gopalapuram Police on Tuesday announced that the boy was traced and rescued from the kidnappers, while two other children, who were abducted earlier, were also rescued.


The boy, Ayush, was kidnapped from the general waiting hall in the railway station, where he had reached along with his mother Sanju Chamar and elder sister Anjali, 6, on Monday.The police, which checked footage from nearly 40 CCTV cameras around the Secunderabad Railway Station, after obtaining visuals of two women walking out of the station along with the boy, found that the women had reached the station on an RTC bus from Bolaram. They then traced the bus driver, who identified the women, and informed the police that they had boarded the bus from near Indira Nagar, Alwal.


The police, fanning out across Alwal in five teams, using local sources as well, finally tracked down the women and rescued Ayush. They also rescued two other kids who were abducted earlier. Three women, M Yadamma, 21 and M Jaya, 18, were arrested, while one suspect, Anjamma, 25, is absconding.
