Court denied bail to D Srinivas's son

The District SC, STs Atrocities Prevention Court on Monday refused bail to Dharmapuri Sanjay, son of Rajya Sabha member D Srinivas and ex-Mayor of Nizamabad, in the sexual harassment case filed by Sankary Nursing College students.The Nizamabad District SC, ST Atrocities Prevention Court Judge Ravi Kumar rejected the bail petition of Sanjay. The Public Prosecutor appealed that, in this case, an inquiry was going on and that Sanjay was under remand. According to the request of the Public Prosecutor, the court imposed 13 days’ remand on Sanjay.
Meanwhile, Sanjay’s lawyers, intend to file a second bail petition in SC, ST Atrocities Prevention court to obtain bail. Police arrested Sanjay on August 12 in a sexual harassment case on a complaint filed by Sankary nursing college students and a case was registered.
